NOTABLE QUOTES FROM EVOLUTIONISTS:

In a letter to Harvard biology professor Asa Gray, Charles Darwin himself wrote:

“I am quite conscious that my speculations run quite beyond the bounds of true science.”

On page 75 of his book The Origin of Species, 1859, Darwin wrote:

“To suppose that the eye with all its inimitable contrivances for adjusting the focus to different distances, for admitting different amounts of light, and for the correction of spherical and chromatic aberration, could have been formed by natural selection, seems, I freely confess, absurd in the highest degree.”
(But then he continues to imagine it anyway.)

In a letter to Charles Lyell, Darwin wrote:
